It turned out to be a great fun weekend and we were very lucky with the weather. Dave G joined us on the Friday and myself and Pat did the coast staying two nights in Donegal with some spectacular B roads and places of interest along the way. It was a big surprise on the last night was the local bar in Ramelton. It looks like a quiet little old style country bar on the outside, but it was hopping on the inside with people, who turned out to be extremely friendly and welcoming to us. It was a great night and we didn’t get in till after three in the morning. To spin home from Letterkenny took us through Castleberg and Northern Ireland. We didn’t as much as touch a motorway all the way it was superb.
